A wide range of international buyers are still drawn to Dubai’s real estate market, according to Betterhomes’ most recent statistics, which shows significant changes in the buyer demographics. In 2025, Russian and Pakistani buyers of residential real estate trailed Indian, British, and Italian investors.
Notably, compared to 2024, Egyptian investors experienced an incredible 150 percent increase in buying activity, while Italian buyers increased by 22 percent. This notable increase demonstrates the rising trust that foreigners have in Dubai’s vibrant real estate market.
Dubai’s position as a top international investment destination is also supported by the high demand from buyers in Lebanon, Iran, and other important markets, even outside of these top five nationalities.
The buyer demographics have clearly changed this year, with a notable increase in Italian and Egyptian investors. While Italians are tempted to Dubai’s tax benefits and opulent lifestyle, many of our Egyptian clients are looking for stability in the face of currency swings. “It’s about securing their future in a globally recognized market, not just about purchasing real estate,” Christopher Cina, Director of Sales at Betterhomes, stated.
