
This year’s AIM Congress brought together a distinguished group of global leaders, innovators, and politicians to discuss technology’s revolutionary role in driving sustainable and human-centered urban development. The event brought together trailblazers from the public and private sectors, multilateral organizations, and academia, who shared strategic insights into creating tomorrow’s smart, resilient cities.
The event, held under the theme Mapping the Future of Global Investment: The New Wave of a Globalized Investment Landscape – Towards a New Balanced World Structure, drew a large international audience, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a vital hub for global investment debate. Technology, and the Ministry of Investment, the congress attracted substantial attention from global.
The leadership included Armenian President Vahagn Garniki Khachaturyan and Republic of Congo-Brazzaville President Denis Sassou Nguesso.
Addressing the audience at the ceremony, Haji Zubair Ali, Mayor of Peshawar and Pakistan’s lone delegate, expressed gratitude to the valued Government of Abu Dhabi and the dedicated organizers of the AIM Congress 2025.
He added that (late) Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (RIP), the UAE’s Founding Father, was essential in bringing the seven emirates together on December 2, 1971, to form a unified federation. His leadership made the country a symbol of peace, wealth, and unprecedented progress. Sheikh Zayed is committed to using the country’s resources.
