How More Wealthy Billionaires will be Drawn to Dubai’s Boat Industry

With superyachts ranging in price from Dh40 million to Dh80 Wealthy  million, as well as flexible options for investors, yacht owners, and entrepreneurs, as well as attractive residency visa options, the UAE’s yacht industry is expected to draw in more ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) to the nation.

Experts and business executives at the ongoing Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), which commenced on Wednesday, hold this opinion. Up until Sunday, February 23, the yearly trade event will include over 200 boats and watercraft from 60 nations. The five-day event, which is regarded as the biggest maritime and lifestyle gathering in the Middle East, is anticipated to draw over 35,000 visitors.

The primary goal of a high-profile event like DIBS is to draw in UHNWIs, or those with a net worth of at least $30 million (more than Dh110 million), who are the wealthiest individuals in the world and control a significant portion of global wealth, in addition to the typical boating enthusiasts.

Superyacht purchasers have the choice to settle in the UAE permanently, according to Alshaali. A program that grants Golden Visas to owners of superyachts in the Capital was introduced in Abu Dhabi in December of last year. The ‘Golden Quay’ is intended to draw wealthy people to Abu Dhabi for exploration and investment.
