His Majesty Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, discussed methods to foster collaboration and collective action for the benefit of both nations and their respective peoples. This occurred at Sheikh Mohamed’s welcome for the Lebanese president, who is in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit, at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed greeted the visiting president and wished him luck in guiding the country’s brotherly people to peace, prosperity, and growth as well as the restoration of Lebanon’s important place in the Arab, regional, and global arenas.
Along with reviewing and discussing a variety of regional and global topics of shared concern, the two parties emphasised the necessity of cooperating to advance regional stability and peace for the benefit of all of their peoples. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed emphasised at the meeting that the UAE and Lebanon have a long history together and that the Emirati and Lebanese people share a common link of love, respect, and gratitude. The reopening of the UAE Embassy in Beirut, according to Sheikh Mohamed, represents the UAE’s determination to support Lebanon and its aspirations for a new era of productive relations between the two nations.
