According to the company’s market assessment, Dubai’s premium number plate market handles roughly 55,000 transactions per year, with the market expanding by about 20%. Premium plates can attract exorbitant prices, with the highest reported transaction being Dhs55 million and the premium plate industry worth Dhs1.7 billion over three years.
The platform was introduced during an exclusive debut event held at a cutting-edge digital and dynamic event location, bringing together industry stakeholders, collectors, investors, and enthusiasts to usher in a new era in Dubai’s premium number plate market.
The event also included the UAE’s first live auction of secondary number plates. Mazal premium number plates and Mazal IDs were also auctioned off, bringing the evening’s enthusiasm to a peak. Mazal, founded on the ideas of trust, openness, and security, seeks to provide more structure and efficiency to a market that has traditionally relied on informal transactions, independent brokers, and manual ownership transfers. The platform offers users a centralised environment where Mazal secures number plates in its custody before making them available for trading.
