e& Reports H1 Revenue rise of 11.6% to Dhs38.1 Billion

Excluding the effects of the Maroc Telecom settlement and the proceeds from the sale of the Group’s stake in Khazna during the first half of 2025, the Group’s consolidated net profit reached Dhs6 billion, indicating a 2.4% increase from the first half of the previous year. With an EBITDA margin of 46.5%, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) totaled Dhs17.7 billion, up 13.1% from the previous year.

The Group’s overall subscriber base grew by 30.4% to 251.5 million, supporting the financial performance. The Group’s portfolio of services and solutions, its capacity to meet the growing demand for advanced telecommunications infrastructure, and its provision of distinctive AI-enabled digital experiences for individuals and businesses are all factors contributing to the approximately 16.5 million e& UAE subscribers, a 6.4% increase from the first half of last year. After a thorough strategic analysis of the Group’s foreign investment portfolio at the conclusion of the second quarter, e& successfully sold all of its shares in Vodafone Group.

The deal resulted in a net cash gain of about Dhs4.8 billion and gross cash receipts of Dhs21.9 billion. Additionally, the Group successfully sold Uber 12.5% of its 50.03% ownership in Careem Technologies for a total value of Dhs367 million.
