Singer-songwriter Shania Twain has revealed the specifics of her wellness regimen. The singer admitted that she once did “very unhealthy things” to maintain her weight. The 60-year-old country music icon opened out about her developing relationship with her body. The singer confessed that during a 2019 Las Vegas residency, she couldn’t bear gazing at her own mirror.
She told The Times, “I stopped looking at myself in the mirror.” I despised my body. I’m like, “Oh, I can’t stand this changing body.” But that was extremely harmful. “Who can’t look themselves in the mirror? She said that her body had begun to change with age, and she no longer felt that her former routines were effective.
She continued, “So all of a sudden I’m bloating, and I’m completely out of control. I can’t simply lose five pounds. I was engaging in extremely unhealthy behaviors. And I was straining my body harder than I was feeding it to keep up with the stress. According to ‘People’, the singer admitted that her grueling routine “to be thinner” left her “malnourished” and exacerbated an onstage injury.
