AD Ports Advances Green Energy Transition with Offshore Supply Chain Contract

AD Ports Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dajin Heavy Industry, a leading manufacturer of offshore wind equipment, to discuss long-term collaboration in offshore wind supply chain growth, maritime logistics, port infrastructure, and critical vessel investments.

The collaboration expands on a number of strategic initiatives and partnerships announced by AD Ports Group in the renewable energy and offshore sectors, including recent agreements with Masdar, Siemens Energy, and Green Parrot, as well as the acquisition of Balenciaga Astilleros Shipyard in Spain, a specialist in offshore wind construction, all of which are helping to strengthen the Group’s offshore energy capability.

The MoU demonstrates both parties’ shared desire to leverage their complementary strengths to accelerate growth in the offshore wind and energy infrastructure markets in Europe and other regions.

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties will look into opportunities such as transportation solutions for offshore wind components, the development of pre-assembly hubs, collaboration on selected offshore wind tenders and industrial projects, and fabrication, assembly, and logistics solutions for offshore energy infrastructure.
