SPL Announces Family Activities, Events, and Workshops

Sharjah Public Libraries (SPL) launched its May program with a varied lineup of cultural, educational, and community events for all age groups, continuing its mission to promote a culture of reading, creativity, and community engagement while reaffirming the library’s role as an interactive knowledge hub within the community.

In addition to awareness seminars on safety, responsibility, and personal growth, the program offers workshops and conversations on history, nature, science, programming, the arts, and creative inquiry for kids and teenagers.

Through events catered to all generations, the May agenda also includes a program for the larger community, establishing venues for discussion, exploration, artistic expression, and family bonding.

On Wednesday, May 13 at 9:00 am, Wadi Al Hilo Library will organize “My Safety on the Road Is My Priority; I Will Protect Myself” at Kalba Youth Center in collaboration with Sharjah Police. Young adults will learn about traffic hazards, road safety, and the need of adhering to safety regulations during the awareness session. On Sunday, May 17 at 10:00 am, the Dibba Al Hisn Library will host a book signing event with author Suad Al Tarban titled “My Exciting Adventures in Sharjah.
