The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, His Excellency Mokhtar Ould Diay, met with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday.
The Mauritanian Prime Minister presented His Highness with a written message from His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of Mauritania, regarding the two countries’ strong ties and ways to further strengthen them in a number of areas during the meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Mokhtar Ould Diay also sent His Highness the Mauritanian President’s congratulations and his best wishes for His Highness’s ongoing health and the long-term development of the United Arab Emirates. In response, His Highness requested that the Prime Minister send President El Ghazouani his best wishes for continued development and prosperity for Mauritania and its citizens.
During their conversation, H.E. Mokhtar Ould Diay and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed discussed methods to improve the UAE-Mauritania fraternal ties, especially in the areas of investment and economics. Both parties looked for ways to further common development objectives for the benefit of both countries and their citizens.
