With two prestigious titles Miss UAE and Miss Planet International—Dr. Mahra Lutfi has announced a partnership with a fashion business to launch a significant “sustainable fashion movement” that will help protect the planet for future generations.
Speaking to Gulf Today during a press conference, Dr Mahra stated that she has partnered with Virgio, the leading sustainable fashion company, to develop a line of sustainable clothing and would serve as the region’s “Sustainable Fashion Ambassador. Leaders in the industry and essential stakeholders attended the event, which took place at the Paramount Hotel in Dubai.
Fashion should reflect both our individuality and our values,” Dr. Mahra stated during his remarks at the event. True style should demonstrate concern for our environment and one another in addition to our appearance. I see a sincere attempt to make apparel that respects people and the environment with Virgio. Working with them and helping them tell their story makes me proud. By working together, we can demonstrate to consumers that ethical clothing can be both fashionable and affordable. In response to a query, she stated that she will shortly present her own collection of fashion designs, showcasing Emirati tradition and culture, during a fashion show in Dubai.
