The UAE Market will See EXEED ET Make its Global Premiere After Obtaining a Five-Star Safety Certification

For the 2025 China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP), the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) published the most recent crash test findings. With its cutting-edge safety features, the EXEED ET became the first mid-size electric SUV in the world to get the award-winning five-star C-NCAP rating.

China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) has updated its C-NCAP rules to meet international safety requirements by using more stringent testing procedures. Middle Eastern road conditions and user demands, such as high-speed driving patterns, a family-oriented user base, and a priority for child and female passenger safety, were crucial to ET model’s R&D process from the beginning. Accordingly, structural reinforcements and restraint system optimizations were implemented. The Middle East is EXEED’s strategic market.

Among mid-to-large pure electric SUVs, the EXEED ET ranked top in C-NCAP testing with an occupant protection score of 91.28%. Under more stringent 2024 regulations, which included higher frontal crash and side-impact speeds of 55 and 60 km/h, respectively, the vehicle showed remarkable structural integrity. After the crash, all of the doors worked, the cabin had little incursion, and its A/B pillars were still in place. Airbags deployed with accuracy and their all-scenario passive safety characteristics were further confirmed by active seat belts and improved undercarriage safety.
