Expo City Dubai and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism have partnered to introduce the UAE’s first Green Innovation District, a historic project that will reinvent industrial development by seamlessly integrating social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.
As outlined in the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy, Centennial 2071 Plan, and National Investment Strategy 2031, the region’s ambitious economic diversification and climate action goals will be actively accelerated by the new Green Innovation District, which was established in partnership with four strategic partners. It will also act as a potent catalyst for sustainable industrial growth, drawing in international companies to the United Arab Emirates.
Expo City Dubai is considered the perfect location for the Green Innovation District because of its ready-built sustainable infrastructure, award-winning world-class free zone, commitment to net zero by 2050, and legacy of promoting sustainable, inventive progress. Expo City Dubai supports eco-conscious businesses, particularly those dedicated to clean energy, circular economy, and green tech, to decarbonize and expand. Its advantageous position halfway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai on a vital logistics route that links Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport maximizes international traffic serves as further evidence of this.
