Even after a Month of Fighting, the United Arab Emirates Remains Iran’s Primary Target

With 2,469 missiles and drones dispersed as follows, the United Arab Emirates was the most targeted country. Nearby, Israel was hit by nearly a thousand missiles and drones, while Saudi Arabia took the hit by more than 1,052.

Nearly 950 strikes were registered in Kuwait, over 700 in Qatar, 605 in Bahrain, 274 in Jordan, and 19 in Oman, according to the targeting map. Only five ballistic missiles and thirty-five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran were intercepted by the UAE air defenses on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Two military personnel died while serving their country in the attacks; a civilian from Morocco was also killed; nine people of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, and Indian descent lost their lives.

Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden, and Tunisia were among the nationalities represented among the injured.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defense reaffirmed its readiness to respond to any danger and its determination to stand firm against any attempt to compromise national security in a way that protects the country’s interests, national capabilities, and sovereignty.
