Dubai Cares Starts a Program to give 10,000 school Kits to Kids

On Friday, more than 400 committed volunteers—100 of whom are from Aldar—gather to put together 10,000 necessary school kits for kids from low-income families all around the United Arab Emirates. The program, which was organised as a part of Volunteer Emirates by Dubai Cares’ “Back to School” edition, represented a critical turning point in the continued collaboration between Dubai Cares and Platinum Sponsor Aldar.

The initiative, held for the first time in Abu Dhabi, attracted an extraordinary number of participants who were eager to support a cause that gives children empowerment through education.

“The success of this initiative is due in no small part to the extraordinary commitment of the volunteers and our sponsor, Aldar, who joined us in Abu Dhabi,” stated Abdulla Ahmed Alshehhi, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Cares. Their involvement not only made this project feasible, but it also showed the significant influence that community involvement can have on solving social issues. We take great pride in collaborating with Aldar and our volunteers to guarantee that every child has the resources necessary to thrive in the classroom.
