A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RAK Ports and Jianhua Holdings Group has been signed, paving the way for the construction of a cutting-edge manufacturing plant within the RAK Maritime City Free Zone. In keeping with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, this cooperation represents a critical turning point in the company’s regional capacities expansion while spurring industrial growth in Ras Al Khaimah.
The first phase of Jianhua Holdings Group’s plans to invest more than Dhs100 million in a manufacturing plant in the RAK Maritime City Free Zone is almost complete. To meet the growing demand for premium materials in the GCC and Asian markets, the new manufacturing facility will specialise in producing prestressed high-strength concrete piles. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed on September 11 in Shenzhen, China, outlines the joint goals of RAK PORTS and Jianhua to promote economic growth, strengthen regional manufacturing, and support the UAE’s industrial diversification policy. “RAK Ports is excited to collaborate with Jianhua, a strategic partner that shares our commitment to innovation and excellence,” said Roy Cummins, CEO of RAK Ports. Our ability to address the region’s increasing need for building materials thanks to this new manufacturing facility will help strengthen our position as a major player in the UAE’s industrial sector.
