Air Arabia Offers Scheduled Flights from Sharjah to the Syrian city of Aleppo

According to an announcement made by Air Arabia on Thursday, the airline will begin operating direct flights between Sharjah and Aleppo beginning on July 4, 2026. This step will increase the airline’s position in Syria.Air Arabia is reaffirming its commitment to providing passengers with access to air travel services that are both comfortable and cheap across key markets by introducing a new service that will operate on a daily basis. This will provide passengers with a broader variety of travel alternatives.

In Syria, Air Arabia currently operates 21 weekly flights between Sharjah and Damascus, in addition to 3 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Damascus. With the inauguration of its flights to Aleppo, Air Arabia is continuing to increase its operations in Syria.

With this in mind, Adel Al Ali, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, stated: “Syria is a key destination within our network, and we are pleased to enhance air travel by providing direct flights to Damascus and Aleppo from Sharjah.” Through this development, we are demonstrating our dedication to providing our customers with travel options that are both hassle-free and pleasant, while also fostering economic and tourism relations between the United Arab Emirates and Syria.
