Dubai: Emarat Petroleum Company (Emarat), a pioneer in the UAE’s oil and gas business, has expanded its international reach by opening its first branded service station in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan. The milestone underscores Emarat’s ongoing efforts to advance its worldwide expansion goals, expand its brand’s position in global markets, and assist the UAE’s vision of increasing the global competitiveness of national enterprises.
Dr Nariman Al Mulla, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia; Eng. Ahmed Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the Emarat Board and Group CEO at Trojan Construction Holding; and Burhan Al Hashemi, CEO of Emarat, were among those in attendance, along with senior executives from Emarat and representatives from both countries’ energy and business sectors.
The station’s launch comes following a strategic cooperation inked last year between Emarat and MegaTrade, one of Armenia’s biggest petroleum and energy companies and a member of the SIL Capital portfolio. The station is the Emarat brand’s first presence in Armenia, leveraging the company’s operational expertise and proven business model in regional markets. It also increases Emarat’s potential to form long-term collaborations and extend its footprint in regional and international markets.
