
Rome: As part of their strategic relationship, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni discussed cooperation between the two nations on Monday.
The talks happened during His Highness’ state visit to Italy, when the Italian Prime Minister and the President of the United Arab Emirates met at Rome’s Chigi Palace. Sheikh Mohamed and her delegation were welcomed by the Italian prime minister, who expressed her hope that the visit would serve as a powerful catalyst for furthering bilateral collaboration.
In addition to cultural interchange, the two parties discussed how their relationship has developed over time, focusing on advanced technology, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, sustainability, and the economy. They reiterated that their strategic alliance is a vital framework for strengthening relationships and realising their people’s hopes for further development and prosperity. UAE-Italy relations began the year the UAE was established as a nation and have developed into a strategic alliance throughout time, according to Sheikh Mohamed.
