The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, in partnership with the Emirate’s General Resources Authority (GRA), has announced the start of the smart car impoundment system, which will begin on January 20. This innovative project seeks to improve smart services and simplify traffic procedures.

The new technique permits vehicle owners who have been found in breach of traffic restrictions to keep their automobiles. They are not required to leave them in the car impoundment yard. The method allows electronic monitoring of these cars, ensuring that they remain at the specified impoundment site.

Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan, Ras Al Khaimah Police Commander-in-Chief, declared that traffic systems would activate the service. This new approach allows vehicle owners to choose an appropriate site to detain their vehicles, with the assurance of direct monitoring and a commitment to care throughout the impoundment time. The new approach reduces pressure on the impoundment yard and depends on innovative technologies to verify compliance with Ministry of Interior standards. He noted that the service allows clients to care for and run their automobiles on a regular basis, safeguarding them from long-term parking harm.
